The Egyptian Gymnastics Federation, headed by Dr. Ihab Amin, has placed Egyptian civilization as the title of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Cairo 2026. Identification cards have been prepared for Egypt’s guests participating in the Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, including tourist attractions in Cairo, with a program developed on the sidelines of the tournament for delegations to visit historical and touristic places in Egypt to learn about Egyptian civilization.

From the Pyramids to the Grand Egyptian Museum, through the bustling alleys of Khan Al-Khalili and the immortal streets of Al-Mu’izz, Cairo, the city of legends and the theater of champions, is ready to welcome the world to the men’s and women’s World Cup Artistic Gymnastics Championships, during the period from 3 to 6 April in Hall No. 1 of the Indoor Hall Complex in Cairo Stadium.

For his part, Dr. Ihab Amin, President of the Egyptian and African Gymnastics Federations and a member of the Executive Office of the International Federation, confirmed that sports tourism is among the goals of the Gymnastics Federation when hosting international and world championships in Egypt, noting that the Federation seeks through this to introduce international delegations to Egyptian civilization.

Amin added in press statements that the Gymnastics Federation has completed the preparation of identification cards that include a number of historical places for all delegations participating in the tournament, most notably Khan Al Khalili, the heart of historic Cairo known for its vibrant markets and rich culture, and the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest museum in the world dedicated to ancient Egyptian civilization where the past meets the present, in addition to the pyramids, the immortal architectural masterpiece of antiquity, and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Amin explained that Egypt, since it was entrusted by the International Gymnastics Federation to organize the World Cup series for artistic gymnastics for men and women, has dazzled the world in every edition, and has enjoyed more confidence from the International Federation and great praise from the participating delegations.

Amin concluded that Egypt, under the new republic under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has become a destination for championships for all sports in general and gymnastics in particular, due to its advanced infrastructure and sports and hotel facilities at the highest level, stressing that the federation will continue to provide everything new in a manner befitting Egypt’s name, history and international standing.
