Sources at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education denied the validity of what was circulated on some social media sites regarding the issuance of a decision to grant students leave tomorrow and the day after tomorrow nationwide due to bad weather conditions.
The sources confirmed to Cairo 24 that, until these moments, no official decision has been taken regarding suspending the study, stressing that the study is continuing normally according to the established schedules.
She explained that making the decision to suspend classes in light of weather conditions is subject to the discretion of each governorate individually, according to its circumstances and weather conditions, in coordination with the relevant authorities within each governorate.

The sources added that if weather conditions necessitate taking any decisions related to suspending studies, they will be announced officially and immediately, taking into account the interest and safety of students.
The Ministry stressed the need to ensure accuracy, not to be led by rumours, and to rely on official statements issued by the competent authorities as a primary source of information.
