Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni confirmed Eastern Governor Continuing to intensify daily campaigns on markets, bakeries, and commercial activities to control violators and confront any attempts to smuggle subsidized goods or manipulate their prices.. saying: I will not allow citizens’ rights to be infringed upon, and all deterrent measures will be taken against violators.
For his part, Engineer Al-Sayyid Harzallah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in the Eastern Province, explained that the supervisory agencies in the directorate launched intensive inspection campaigns on bakeries and commercial activities within the governorate to tighten control over markets and strategic goods.
He added that the center and city of Ibrahimiyya witnessed an inspection campaign conducted by the Supply Administration, which resulted in the seizure of (450 kg) of subsidized flour before it was sold on the black market, and a report was issued regarding the absence of a health certificate for one of the activities.
In the center and city of Ouled Saqr, (6 tons) of table salt of unknown source, (5 tons) of agricultural fertilizers of unknown source, (10) bags of frozen chicken without documents, (2) bags of tourist flour of unknown source, and (100) packages of industrial adhesive without invoices were seized, and all legal measures were taken against the violators.
Meanwhile, the center and city of Minya al-Qamh witnessed the seizure of a ton of sugar without invoices, (5) bags of 72% flour without documents, (50) cartons of foodstuffs without invoices, and (10) bags of frozen chicken without documents.
Reports were issued for the sale of cigarettes at more than the official price, reports were issued for non-announcement of prices and the absence of health certificates, and warehouses, gas stations and “Ahlan Ramadan” showrooms were visited to ensure the availability of goods and the regularity of work.
