The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip circulated on social media sites that included a quarrel between a number of people with firearms and knives in Sharqiya.
Two parties to a quarrel with firearms and knives were arrested in Sharqia
Upon examination, it was revealed that the Zagazig Police Station in Sharqia was informed of a quarrel between one party, 5 people, one of whom died as a result of a penetrating wound, and another with a birdshot wound. The second party, 6 people, one of whom died as a result of a gunshot wound, all of them residing in the station’s district, due to disputes between them over neighborhood and children’s fun, after which they assaulted and beat each other using firearms and knives, which led to the death of two of them and the injury of another.
The two parties to the quarrel were arrested, and they were in possession of the weapons used in the assault: an automatic rifle, a shotgun, a shotgun, and a knife. When they were confronted, they admitted to committing the incident as referred to for the same disputes, and legal measures were taken.
