An incident of assault on women in the village of Kafr Abaza, affiliated with the Zagazig center, Sharkia Governorate, turned into a bloody quarrel. It resulted in the death of two people and the injury of another, after the events escalated and the use of firearms amid a state of panic among the people.
Details of the incident
The beginning was by receiving the devices Security Notification of the arrival of two bodies to the hospital: Shaaban M. And Hamada. M; They were hit by birdshot that killed them, while the hospital received Muhammad. He was injured by a birdshot.
In exclusive statements to Cairo 24, the family of one of the victims revealed that the beginning of the dispute dates back to the first day of Eid al-Fitr, when a neighbor assaulted their uncle’s wife. This caused a verbal altercation between the two parties before a senior family member intervened and temporarily ended the dispute.
The family added that the dispute was renewed again inside one of the mosques during the Maghrib prayer, where a new argument took place that developed into throwing stones before one of the residents intervened and settled the dispute again.
The family explained that on the day of the incident, a number of other family members assaulted and beat women from their family. What prompted them to go out to try to end the problem, but they were surprised by people carrying firearms.
She continued: I tried to document what was happening by filming, but suddenly random shooting began and a stray bullet hit my uncle Shaaban and led to his death, along with another person. We want Shaaban’s rights.
Immediately, a security force moved from the police station to the site of the incident, where the circumstances of the incident were examined and witnesses were heard, in preparation for arresting the accused.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the two bodies were transferred to the morgue at the disposal of the Public Prosecution.
