He added the first district Mahalla There was a sudden break in the main water pipe located in the Galaa Street area during the work of replacing and renovating it, because it had been in existence since 1924 and had not been renewed.
A statement was published by the Presidency of the First District of Mahalla, stating, “️We are following up with you on the process of replacing and renewing the water lines from Al-Jalaa Square to Abu Daraa Square, which have been in place since 1924. While connecting the new household lines, leaks appeared in the line, and since the water was not shut off to the citizens, water was leaked to the nearest sewer drain. Therefore, we inform you that the lines will be changed and the water leak repaired at dawn today, Wednesday, 3/11/2026.”
