The Menoufia Governorate Drinking Water and Sanitation Company announced that it will cut off water tomorrow, Monday, April 6, 2026, to the city of Shebin El-Kom and a number of its affiliated areas, namely Kafr Al-Musaylaha and Mit Khaqan, for a period of 4 continuous hours, starting from 10 am until 2 pm on the same day.

The company explained that the reason for the outage comes within the framework of carrying out the work of washing networks and disinfecting tanks, with the aim of improving the quality of water and ensuring that it reaches citizens in a safe and healthy manner, within the periodic maintenance plan implemented by the company in various centers of the governorate.

The company issued an urgent appeal to citizens to manage their water needs during the outage period, especially in light of the coincidence of work with daylight hours, calling on the owners of bakeries, vital facilities and shops to provide sufficient quantities of water to conduct their work without being affected.
It also appealed to government agencies, hospitals and health units to take the necessary precautions to ensure the continued provision of services without interruption, stressing its keenness to complete the work on time and to gradually re-pump water immediately upon completion.
The company confirmed that these measures are part of its ongoing efforts to maintain the efficiency of networks and the quality of service provided to citizens, noting that work teams will be present throughout the outage period to follow up on implementation and ensure the speedy restoration of service as quickly as possible.
