Today, Saturday, April 4, 2026, cold weather prevails in South Sinai Governorate at night and in the early morning, despite high temperatures, and active winds carrying sand and dust that sometimes lead to a lack of visibility, with the possibility of light rain falling on the cities of South Sinai and the Red Sea ranges, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority.

The governorate is witnessing high temperatures during the day and a noticeable improvement at night. Despite this, there are chances of light rain falling in most areas, winds carrying sand and dust, and light rain on the Red Sea mountain ranges, with low clouds over the cities of South Sinai.
For its part, the Meteorological Authority explained that today, Saturday, the country will witness stable weather conditions, and cold weather will prevail in the early morning, warm and hot during the day in most parts, hot in southern Upper Egypt and cold at night in most parts, and chances of light rain in the far south of the country, and the Red Mountain ranges at intermittent periods, and chances of low clouds forming in areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, and northern Upper Egypt.
It may result in light rain falling, amounting to 20%, in some areas, and active winds at speeds of 20-40 km/h in most areas, which may cause sand and dust on the northwestern coasts and in areas of northern and southern Upper Egypt, the Red Sea governorates, and South Sinai, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility in some areas at intermittent intervals.

Regarding the conditions of the Mediterranean and Red Bahrain, the condition is moderate, the waves are between 2 and 2.25 meters high, and the winds are southwesterly and northwesterly.
