The local unit authorities in the center and city of Tahta carried out intensive campaigns to enforce compliance with the decisions of the Council of Ministers, regarding the closing times of stores and the rationalization of electricity consumption, within the framework of the directives of Major General Tariq Rashed, Governor of Sohag.

The campaigns resulted in the closure and waxing of one of the cafés for violating the closing times, stressing the need to fully adhere to the specified dates and take the necessary legal measures against violators.
Campaigns were implemented in village councils in parallel with the city, to ensure the implementation of the decision throughout the center, and to achieve public discipline.
The campaigns also witnessed the removal of many occupancies from streets and squares, and the issuance of a number of reports for violators, with an emphasis on implementing the law decisively in order to preserve the public interest.
The head of the center stressed the continuation of daily campaigns in coordination with the security services, to follow up on the implementation of closure decisions throughout the center and city of Tahta.
