A short while ago, a fire broke out in an administrative building attached to the Resta Tourist Hotel in Port Said Governorate. Immediately, civil protection personnel received a report and the fire brigades, led by Brigadier General Abdullah Saada, moved in. Upon arrival, it was found that the fire had broken out in two rooms inside the building.

The team faced great difficulty because the rooms contained highly flammable materials, such as cladding, decorative wood, and gypsum board, which increased the speed of the fire’s spread.
Civil protection men were able to storm the building using oxygen tubes for breathing, and began dealing with flammable materials using advanced equipment and capabilities. They were able, with great professionalism, to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring rooms, so that the operation was completed with a 100% success rate, without recording any casualties.
