She announced Capital University About opening the door to participation for its students in the activities of the eleventh artistic photography competition under the title “The Story of a Picture,” and the sixth artistic competition for the best video, which are organized by Tanta University, with the participation of students from Egyptian universities.

This comes out of the university’s keenness to enhance the spirit of creativity and positive competition among students, and its belief that student activities represent a real space for discovering talents and refining artistic and cultural capabilities, in addition to contributing to building an integrated university personality that combines academic excellence and creative excellence, under the patronage of Dr. Al-Sayyid Qandil, the university’s president, Dr. Hossam Rifai, vice president for education and student affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Aleeq, advisor to the university’s president for student activities.

First: Photography Competition “Photo Story”

The competition requires submitting a photograph that expresses a clear story once you look at it. Participation with one or more photographs is permitted, provided that the following conditions are met:

• Size 20 x 30 cm.

• It must be in color and not copied from any source.

• Printed in high quality on cardboard.

• The student’s information is written on it (name – college – band – university name – phone number).

Valuable prizes were allocated to the winners to support and motivate distinguished talents.

Second: Best video competition

The student has the right to participate in one or both subjects, by submitting a video befitting the name of the university, in accordance with the following controls:

• Producing a realistic video about Egyptian achievements between the past and the present (5 minutes duration).

or

• Choose one of the following topics and submit a realistic video not exceeding 3 minutes:

Fourth generation wars: danger and how to confront.

• Sports champions and soft powers and their role in improving countries.

• Developing national belonging among young people.

Application dates and mechanisms

• Withdrawing the subscription form from the college’s Youth Welfare Department as of February 20.

• Approval of the form from the college and attaching a copy of the national ID card.

• Submitting the work to the General Administration of Student Welfare – Administration of Families and Student Unions (second round), during the period from March 15 to March 19 as the last date for submission.

Dr. Al-Sayyid Qandil, President of the University, stressed that student activities represent one of the main axes of the university’s strategy to build the personality of the university student, pointing out that participation in such competitions reflects students’ awareness of their cultural and national role, and contributes to highlighting an honorable image of the university in various forums.

For his part, Dr. Hossam Rifai, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, explained that the sector pays great attention to expanding the base of student participation in various activities, stressing that these events represent a real opportunity to discover the latent energies of young people, build self-confidence, and enhance the spirit of belonging and teamwork, while providing the technical and administrative support necessary for effective participation.

Capital University called on its talented students to seize this opportunity and participate in works that express their contemporary vision and artistic creativity, stressing that student excellence remains one of the most important indicators of the university’s success and leadership.

The participation will be held under the general supervision of Major General Muhammad Abu Shaqqa, Secretary-General of the University, Hisham Refaat, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Nashwa Ali, Director of the General Administration for Student Welfare, and Amira Nabil, Director of the Department of Families and Student Unions.
