He added that the university continues to support innovation and strengthen international partnerships, which contributes to raising its global ranking.

The university president added that Cairo University’s results in the QS classification reflect the strength of its performance across indicators of academic reputation, employment of graduates, the impact of scientific research, and international cooperation, which confirms the success of its strategy in enhancing its global competitiveness and consolidating its position among the leading universities.

For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Saeed confirmed that the statistical indicators of the classification reflect a noticeable improvement in the quality of scientific publishing and the increase in international citations, as well as the expansion of the inclusion of specializations, as the number of fields classified internationally increased compared to previous years, especially in the fields of agriculture (13 specializations listed at the level of Egypt), computer science (13 specializations), and pharmacy (12 specializations), which reflects the dynamic development of the research system.

It is noteworthy that the global QS classification is based on four indicators: the academic reputation of the specialization offered by the program, the reputation of graduates, the volume of citations from research, and the network of published research among researchers belonging to more than one country.
