Major General Ahmed Saqr, head of the city of Qusayr, led a massive campaign that succeeded in recovering an area of 7,300 square meters in the “Al-Jarf” area. For his part, Major General Ahmed Saqr stressed that this measure comes within a comprehensive plan drawn up by Dr. Walid Al-Barqi, Governor of the Red Sea, to cleanse the governorate’s cities of encroachments, explaining that the state will not again allow the presence of random outposts or unlicensed scrap warehouses within the residential bloc or on government land.
He pointed out that the work is continuing and will not stop until full discipline is imposed and the civilized appearance of the city of Qusayr is restored, while all deterrent legal measures are taken to ensure that the encroachment does not return under any circumstances.
