According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, there is a violent response to the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as they stated in their statement that they will take revenge on the killers of Leader Khamenei in an overwhelming and decisive manner.
The statement also described the assassination as a major crime that cannot be tolerated, and that the assassination would be the beginning of massive chaos against tyrants, as they put it.
The Iranian General Staff also indicated that they will make America and Israel regret and will continue the march of Commander Ali Khamenei until the enemies surrender, as they described it.
Iran announced the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on Saturday morning in his office while he was at work.
The Iranian government declared 40 days of general mourning in the country for Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei after his death was confirmed. According to the Iranian Fars Agency, the general mourning in the country includes the suspension of official departments for 7 days.
It is worth noting that the Iranian presidency confirmed that it will respond with all force and firmness to the perpetrators of the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and those behind them.
