US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner will meet today, Sunday, with a Ukrainian delegation in Florida, before Witkoff’s expected visit to Moscow and meeting with Russian President Vladimir. Putin.
Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security Council, Rustam Amirov, confirmed that the Ukrainian delegation had gone to the United States to participate in the negotiating process based on directives from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
This comes at a time when intense negotiations are taking place on settling the Ukrainian crisis, on several fronts, as Rubio and Witkoff will hold talks with the Ukrainian delegation on Sunday, and Witkoff is expected to go to Moscow in the same week to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Putin will receive Witkov
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to receive the US President’s special envoy, Steve Witkov, in the first half of next week.
In the first half of the week, we will announce the day at the appropriate time, Peskov told reporters in response to a question about the date of President Putin’s meeting with Witkov.
