Media personality Aya Abdel Rahman expressed her happiness at the honor from Cairo University President Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, referring to the letter addressed to her from the university president’s office, stressing that this place is the one that produced the great professors and scholars.
In a post on her Facebook account, Aya Abdel Rahman said:
“Praise be to God always and forever… Cairo University is your home and your place. We are proud of you and want to honor you to say that you are our daughter and we are happy with your success.”
She added: “This was the message that I received from the office of Professor Dr. Al-Raqi Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadiq, President of Cairo University, and it made me very happy and proud to appreciate my home, Cairo University, the place that has embraced my dreams and goals from the first year until now.”
She continued: “As I am a doctoral researcher and assistant lecturer, this honor has a special place in my heart, as it comes from an inspiring place from which the greatest thinkers, scholars, and leaders who honored Egypt at home and abroad emerged.”
She concluded her post by thanking Cairo University, saying: “Thank you, my home, Cairo University for the dear appreciation and honor, and my sincere pride and appreciation to Professor Dr. Mohamed Sami for your kind words today and your kind appreciation and warm reception.”
Media personality Aya Abdel Rahman presented the program “The State of Recitation,” which was shown on screens and achieved very high viewership rates. It also received wide praise for presenting a program of the size and weight of “The State of Recitation.”
