Governorate revealed AswanThe truth about the situation regarding the availability of petroleum products in the governorate, within the framework of its keenness on transparency and providing accurate information.

Aswan Governorate confirmed, in a press statement, that there is no shortage of gasoline or any other petroleum products at the governorate level, noting that the strategic stock is available and sufficient quantities are being pumped to meet the needs of all citizens.

3 gas stations temporarily closed

The governorate indicated that a decision had been taken to temporarily close 3 gas stations through the General Petroleum Authority, due to the presence of administrative and technical violations that require legal action. The governorate, for its part, continues its efforts to accelerate the restart of these stations, noting that this measure resulted in the transfer of a number of vehicles that were refueling from these stations to other operating stations.

The governorate added that this transfer is what explains the presence of some noticeable crowding at a number of gas stations during the recent period, which is normal and temporary in light of the redistribution of loads.

The governorate reassures citizens that the shares of petroleum supplies allocated to the closed stations have already been transferred to the operating stations to ensure continuity of service and coverage of demand, which reaffirms that there is no shortage of petroleum products.

The governorate confirms that the situation is stable, and that petroleum materials are available in sufficient quantities, and the matter does not require any concern or fear. In parallel, continuous coordination is being made with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the relevant executive authorities to deal with the situation of the three closed stations, and to take the necessary measures to return them to work after correcting their conditions.

Aswan Governorate calls upon you not to be swayed by any malicious rumors or inaccurate information that might cause confusion or harm public peace. It calls on everyone to obtain information from its official, reliable sources only.
