Exports continued Food industries Egyptian Company is consolidating its gains in international markets during 2025, driven by a noticeable expansion in the European Union and the United States, and with foreign demand moving in favor of Egyptian products, the market map confirms that the sector does not depend on a single market, but rather builds its growth on diversifying destinations and increasing added value.

The Food Industries Export Council announced that Egyptian food industry exports to global markets recorded clear growth in 2025 compared to 2024, bringing total exports to about $6.8 billion compared to $6.1 billion, explaining that the Arab countries maintained their position as the largest receiving market for the sector’s exports, as exports to them increased from $3.266 billion in 2024 to $3.438 billion in 2025. An increase of $172 million.
The Council added that food industry exports to European Union countries rose from $1.160 billion to $1.325 billion, an increase of $165 million, reflecting the accelerated growth in the penetration of Egyptian products into European markets.
