The Giza Pyramids witnessed a large turnout of Egyptian visitors today, coinciding with the Sham El Nessim celebrations, as significant numbers flocked since the early morning to spend special times inside the archaeological area.

Informed sources confirmed, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the maximum level of preparedness had been raised within the Giza Pyramids area, coinciding with the increase in the number of visitors during the Sham El Nessim holiday.
The sources added that the presence of administrative security and antiquities inspectors inside the region was intensified, with the aim of organizing the visiting movement, in addition to raising archaeological awareness among citizens of the necessity of preserving archaeological sites and adhering to instructions.
The sources explained that an operations room has been formed that operates throughout the day to monitor entry and exit movement, and to intervene immediately if any crowding occurs, to ensure smooth movement and provide a safe and organized experience for visitors.
The sources indicated that these measures come within the framework of an integrated plan to improve the level of services provided within the archaeological sites, especially during peak times and seasons, which reflects the importance of the site as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Egypt and the world.
