Yesterday, Saturday, the village of Sila, affiliated to the Fayoum Center in Fayoum Governorate, witnessed the organization of a large celebration to honor the people of the village who have memorized the Holy Qur’an, in a joyful atmosphere dominated by feelings of pride and pride among the people and families of the honorees.

The ceremony’s activities began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an in the voices of a number of honored memorizers of the Book of God, followed by speeches by those in charge of organizing the ceremony, who stressed the importance of supporting and encouraging young people to memorize the Holy Qur’an, and instilling religious and moral values in them from a young age.
The organizers of the ceremony pointed out that such events contribute greatly to motivating children and youth to devote themselves to memorizing the Holy Qur’an, and also enhance the spirit of competition among them in the way of memorizing the Book of God, stressing that honoring memorizers is a message of appreciation to everyone who worked hard and spent time in order to master the memorization of the Qur’an.
The celebration witnessed the distribution of certificates of appreciation and gifts to the memorizers, amid great applause and joy from the families who were keen to take souvenir photos with their honored children, in a scene that reflected the extent of pride in the great religious achievement these children and youth have achieved.
A number of parents confirmed that these celebrations represent a strong motivation for children to continue memorizing the Holy Qur’an, calling for the repetition of such initiatives that contribute to raising a generation that adheres to the teachings of the Islamic religion and its tolerant values.
The village of Sila is one of the villages that is greatly concerned with memorizing the Holy Qur’an, as it has memorization circles and books, and the people of the village are keen to organize periodic celebrations to honor memorizers, to support them and encourage other children to follow the path of memorizing the Book of God.
