Cairo 24 recently revealed that the series Taher Al-Masry, starring the star Khaled El-Nabawy, will be excluded from the upcoming Ramadan marathon in 2026, after preparations were temporarily halted due to difficulties in choosing the heroines of the work.

The cessation came as a result of special requirements imposed by the nature of the series, as the work requires girls who have professional skills in playing football, in addition to the ability to act, which constituted a major obstacle in the preparation stage.
Cairo 24 learned from its own sources that the production company, in cooperation with the artist Khaled El Nabawy, has returned again to complete preparations, in preparation for the resumption of filming during the coming period, with the series being shown outside the Ramadan season.
It is expected that the work will witness new developments during the coming period, after overcoming the obstacles, to come to light at an appropriate time that guarantees it a strong presentation and a remarkable presence on the dramatic scene.

The star Khaled Al-Nabawi recorded his most recent dramatic appearance through the series “Empire Meem”, which was shown as part of the Ramadan 2024 drama, and he succeeded in achieving wide interaction, both in terms of viewership rates.
The series was written by Muhammad Suleiman Abdel Malik, directed by Muhammad Salama, and a group of stars participated in the tournament, including Nour Al-Nabawi, Hala Shiha, Nashwa Mustafa, Muhammad Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Laila Ezz Al-Arab, along with a number of other artists.
The events of the work revolve around the character of Mukhtar, who is surprised to assume the responsibility of raising his six children after the death of his wife, to engage in a complex human struggle between being led by feelings of love and the temptations of life, or clinging to the stability of his family in light of a rapidly changing world around him.
