The campaign resulted in the removal of all occupancies and encroachments that took over the sidewalks and pedestrian paths, and the reservation of 120 occupancies during their presence on College of Medicine and Dinocrat Streets.
In a related context, the head of the Central District today followed the work of the Electricity and Cleaning Departments to prepare the surroundings of the churches, as part of the preparations for Christmas celebrations.
The Electricity Department maintained and lit 6 poles in the vicinity of the Coptic Catholic Patriarchate at Raml Station, and the Cleaning Department visited a number of churches to review the general state of cleanliness.
The governorate confirms that after applying the prescribed fines and issuing legal warnings, administrative closure will be imposed for a period of up to 15 days in the event of repeated violations, in addition to the imposition of the financial fines stipulated in the organizing regulations.
