Statement of the Mouloudia Club of Algiers
The Mouloudia Club of Algeria said in an official statement via its account on the social networking site Facebook: The management of the Mouloudia Club of Algeria announces the departure of South African coach Rulani Mokwena from the club’s coaching staff, and this is after he activated the clause that ends his duties at the head of the first team, as the contract included a clause requiring the coach to pay two salaries if he wishes to leave.
The club continued through its statement: This decision came after a meeting between the coach and the club management, during which he expressed his conviction to end his experience with the team, after a career that lasted 8 months.
The club continued in its statement: During this period, Mokoena was able to lead the team to win the Algerian Super Cup title, and under his supervision, the team maintained the top spot in the professional league since the first rounds of the season, in an experience that also saw the team exit from the Algerian Cup and CAF Champions League competitions.
He concluded: While the MC Algeria administration extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to coach Rulani Mokwena and his technical staff for the work and efforts they have provided throughout their supervision of the team, it wishes them every success in their upcoming professional stations.
