Youssef said in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that he has been suffering from this disease for some time, which has caused severe weakness in the absorption of food, and has significantly affected his natural growth and body, explaining that his health condition is becoming more difficult with the passage of time.
The young man added that he had to leave his studies after secondary school, due to the deterioration of his condition and his inability to be disciplined or concentrate, stressing that the disease prevented him from completing his education like the rest of his peers.
The young man explained that he cannot lead his life normally, as he is forced to stay at home most of the time, as a result of his constant need to use the bathroom, which prevents him from going out, working, or even performing simple daily activities.
The young man pointed out that his treatment is very expensive, as he needs medications and two injections per month, the cost of which amounts to about 30 thousand pounds per month, for an entire year, which is an amount that is completely beyond his means, especially in light of his lack of any health insurance.
Youssef concluded his appeal for help by appealing to good people and officials to help him provide treatment expenses, stressing that his condition requires urgent intervention so that he can restore his life normally and complete his future.
