A young man in his thirties was killed after a car overturned inside the Al-Kula Canal in the Akhmim center in Sohag Governorate.

The details of the incident are due to Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister and Director of Sohag Security, receiving notification from Major General Mahmoud Taha, Director of Criminal Investigation, of the arrival of an ambulance carrying the lifeless body of Bassam H., 25 years old, residing in the village of Al-Kula.
Immediately, the security services moved to the site of the accident, and upon examination it was found that the car that the victim was driving overturned inside the Al-Kula Canal, which led to his drowning and death on the spot. The body was transferred to the hospital morgue at the disposal of the investigation authorities, to determine the circumstances of the incident and determine whether there was any criminal suspicion or not.
The necessary report on the incident was prepared, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
