Farah Al-Zahid spoke about the audience’s interaction with the events of the fifth episode of the Black Rouge series, noting that she received messages from her followers bearing painful stories about domestic violence.
Farah explained in her statements to Cairo 24 that a 42-year-old female follower sent her a message revealing that her husband was hitting her in a humiliating way on the leg in front of her children, stressing that what the audience saw in the series made the female followers feel emboldened to share their true experiences.
Farah Al Zahid emphasized that the goal of sharing these stories is to shed light on the issue of domestic violence, and to encourage victims to speak up and seek support.
Black Rogue Heroes
The work included a group of artists, including: Rania Youssef, Muhannad Hosni, Liqaa Al-Khamisi, Dalia Mustafa, Mai Selim, Farah Al-Zahid, Ahmed Jamal Saeed, Abed Anani, Ahmed Fahim, and Ghada Talaat, and it was written by Ayman Selim.
Details of the Black Rouge series
The Rouge Aswad series is scheduled to be shown on Al-Nahar and Al-Mehwar channels, and the work will be directed by Mohamed Abdel-Rahman Hamaki, who will direct the work. The working episodes have also been modified to be 30 episodes instead of 45 episodes, and the producing company continues to contract with the rest of the work’s heroes in the coming days.
