Israeli media reported that a number of soldiers were killed or wounded during battles that took place in the past hours in the south Lebanon.
The Israeli army’s military censorship has so far kept quiet about the details of what happened, and prevents the media from publishing any information related to the incident.
6 Israelis were killed, according to the occupation army
The Israeli occupation army had previously officially announced the killing of 6 of its soldiers and the injury of 16 others, while media outlets confirmed that there were more than 60 wounded, including officers, noting that most of the injuries resulted from targeting Israeli tanks with guided missiles.
Yesterday, Monday, the Israeli occupation army announced that a soldier was seriously injured as a result of an operational accident in southern Lebanon, in addition to two other soldiers being moderately injured after a drone fell near them in the same area.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal quoted Israeli officials as saying that the army will remain in southern Lebanon indefinitely, until the threats posed by Hezbollah are eliminated.
