During its contact with Moroccan Raja, Al-Ahly specified a response regarding the offer after a week to settle the deal.
Earlier, press reports revealed Al-Ahly club’s interest in contracting with Youssef Belamri, the left-back of the Moroccan Raja team, during the coming period.
According to the Moroccan “Hesport” website, Raja is preparing to improve its offer to fortify Belamri, and Al-Ahly is lurking for the “Atlas Lions” full-back.
He explained that Raja officials found great difficulties in convincing the player to sign a new contract with the team during the current period, which raises concerns about his departure for free from the “Eagles.”
He continued that the financial demands of the player Youssef Belamri were considered by Raja’s management office to be large compared to the financial value proposed by the club in exchange for extending the position of left back for the first Moroccan national team.
