Rashad Mukhtar, the muezzin of Al-Noor Mosque in the Sabaa Banat area in the city of Mahalla Al-Kubra, died while performing the dawn prayer. He was taken to the hospital and the competent investigation authorities were notified.
Investigations revealed that the deceased worked as a cleaner and muezzin of the mosque, and during the dawn prayer, the worshipers were surprised by his death inside the mosque.
On the other hand, the security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the truth about a post that was circulated on social media sites, which included an allegation that the driver of a tuk-tuk vehicle and others assaulted a Sudanese woman named Zakirat Abdel-Baqi, injuring her, and stealing her phone and silver jewelry as she boarded the vehicle in Giza.
Upon examination, it was revealed that a report had been received from the Kerdasa Police Station from a hospital that it had received the aforementioned woman with a fractured skull.
When asked who took the aforementioned person to the hospital (a resident of the Al-Ahram Police Department), he decided that while he was driving his car in the center’s district, he heard the aforementioned woman calling for help, and was surprised when the driver of the “tuk-tuk” vehicle collided with her and fled. When he was reversing the car to investigate the matter, he “unintentionally” collided with the aforementioned woman, causing her injury, and he immediately transferred her to the same hospital to receive treatment.
