The investigation authorities in Mina Al-Basal are beginning their investigations into the incident of the collapse of parts of a property, causing the injury of a mother and her son, in the early hours of this morning, on Al-Qadi Al-Fadil Street No. 3 in the West neighborhood. Alexandria.

A team from the Public Prosecution moved to the site of the collapse, inspected the accident site, and requested the property file from the neighborhood to find out if any decisions had been issued.
The security services of the Alexandria Security Directorate, the control center, and the central operations room in the governorate received a report indicating the collapse of parts of a property located in the Al-Qabbari area, belonging to the Mina Al-Basal section, west of the city.
Immediately, Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, directed the relevant executive agencies in the governorate to go to the report site and immediately deal with the accident, and take the necessary measures to secure the area and protect passers-by.
It turned out that the property was subject to demolition order No. 134 of 2019, up to the surface of the ground, while parts of the property fell, resulting in the injury of two passers-by and they were transferred to Al-Jumhuriya and Jamal Hamada Hospital to receive treatment.
The executive agencies in the West District placed barriers around the property to protect citizens and passers-by, and Engineer Zainab Al-Sayed, Head of the West Alexandria District, continued to deal with the parts of the property that represent danger and take the necessary measures to deal with them in order to preserve public safety.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident and the investigating authorities were notified to begin their investigations into the incident
