The raids resulted in the death of two members of the Hasm Movement, affiliated with the terrorist Brotherhood, in an exchange of fire after their hiding place in Giza Governorate was raided.
The terrorist Brotherhood leader, Mahmoud Muhammad Abdel Wanis, was arrested as part of the efforts of the security services to pursue members of the Hasm Movement involved in preparing a plan aimed at harming the state’s capabilities.
Security investigations revealed the participation of Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Razek Ahmed Ghoneim and Ihab Abdel Latif Mohamed Abdel Qader in carrying out operations targeting security and economic facilities in the country.
