The National Elections Authority monitored a limited quarrel in front of Committee 23 in the Ismailia Center between two candidates, which resulted in one of the candidates sustaining minor injuries.
The security forces intervened immediately and took control of the situation within minutes. Despite the state of intimidation that occurred outside the committee, the Commission confirmed that the conduct of the electoral process was not affected inside the committee and that voting continued normally.
The Commission stressed taking legal measures against any violation, and called on citizens not to pay attention to rumours, and to continue participating in the electoral process in all safety.
