The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Beheira Governorate, headed by Muhammad Rajab Hadiya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, and Suhair Zaatar, Undersecretary of the Directorate, continued to tighten control over bakeries, markets, and commercial activities, to ensure that the support reaches those who deserve it and is not smuggled to the black market, and the suitability of the supply of food materials and commodities for human consumption or not.

A bakery was arrested for collecting 279 ration cards for the purpose of trafficking, and 3 bakeries for selling subsidized flour on the black market.

A ration campaign in the city of Rosetta, under the supervision and chairmanship of Saeed Al-Muhandis, Director of Administration, and the supervision of Ahmed Al-Shannat, Head of Control, and the membership of Abdel Mohsen Fawzi, Inspector of Administration, was able to seize a bakery for collecting 279 ration cards for the purpose of trafficking and making an illegal profit. The report was drawn up and the necessary legal measures were taken.

A bakery was also seized for disposing of 15 packages of subsidized local flour, weighing 50 kg each. Two bakeries were seized for producing bread that was underweight by 19 grams per loaf, a bakery was seized for producing bread that was underweight by 10 grams per loaf, and a gas warehouse was seized for closing during official working hours and not announcing the set prices.

A similar campaign in the city of Damanhour, under the supervision and chairmanship of Yasser Al-Muhandis, director of ration control in the directorate, and the membership of Islam Zein al-Din, Muhammad Sabry, Al-Husseini Saleh, and Muhammad Qandil, inspectors of ration control in the directorate, was able to arrest a bakery for assembling 10 bags of subsidized local flour to make illegal profits. The flour and its transport were seized and the necessary legal action was taken to present it to the investigating authorities.
