The executive agencies in the center and city of Desouk launched a massive ration campaign on bakeries across the center and city, resulting in the issuance of 7 ration reports, within the framework of continuing strict inspection campaigns in implementation of the directives of Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moati, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, on the necessity of tightening control over bakeries and ensuring that a loaf of bread conforming to specifications reaches citizens.

Jamal Satour, head of the Desouk Center and City, in coordination with accountant Adel Al-Habit, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Kafr El-Sheikh, added the efforts of the Bandar Supply Department and the Desouk Center in implementing ration campaigns in bakeries, markets, and shops, in cooperation with the Consumer Protection Agency and the Supply and Health Departments.

The campaign resulted in the arrest of a number of violations related to underweight, non-compliance with specifications, and lack of cleanliness and health and legal requirements. Three reports of underweight were issued, one report for non-compliance with specifications, two reports for lack of cleanliness, and one report for failure to advertise. The necessary legal measures were taken against the violators, and they were presented to the Public Prosecution to initiate investigations.
