The security services launched a security campaign in Imbaba during which they were able to seize 54 marijuana brushes in the possession of unemployed people before selling them to their customers.

Information was received by the Chief of Investigations at the Imbaba Police Department indicating that unemployed persons were attempting to bring quantities of hashish for the purpose of trafficking.

The information was presented to Major General Alaa Fathi, Director of the General Administration of Giza Investigations, who assigned the Chief of Investigations to quickly arrest the accused.

The necessary ambushes were prepared, 40 marijuana brushes were seized in the possession of the first accused, 14 marijuana brushes were seized in the possession of the second accused, and the necessary measures were taken.

Earlier, detectives from the Fifth Settlement Police Department arrested Ahmed Hossam Mido’s son, on charges of possessing narcotic drugs, after stopping him in a security ambush while he was passing by in his car.

The investigators found in the possession of Ahmed Hossam Mido’s son, narcotic substances, including cannabis and some alcohol. He was accompanied by a girl at the time he was stopped, searched, and arrested.

He was presented to the Forensic Medicine Department and it was found positive that he had taken drugs, and he tested positive for the drugs seized from his possession, and he was referred to the investigating authorities to initiate investigations.
