The Hawamdiya area of Giza Governorate witnessed the incident of a young man attacking his brother from his father, using a knife, which resulted in him receiving 48 stitches in the neck following family disputes over their inheritance from their father.

Amir Badr, the victim, said during a live broadcast on Cairo 24, that the details of the incident lie when their father died and left them a house for 14 half-siblings, which sparked disputes between them in order to force the victim to leave the house to them and give up his rights, to protect himself from the harassment that occurs almost constantly.
He added that the details of the incident occurred at the beginning of this March, when he was surprised while he was standing at work inside a supermarket when his brother assaulted him, beating him and injuring him with a severe injury to the face.
The victim concluded, and that he was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary aid, and a report was drawn up regarding the incident, which was No. 1222, Hawamdiya Misdemeanor, dated March 2, after which the security services arrested the perpetrator of the incident, and he was presented to the competent investigation authorities, which then decided to release the accused pending the case.
