Major General Muhammad Alwan, Governor, announced AssiutContinuing to intensify the monitoring campaigns on shops and commercial establishments in all centers and cities of the governorate, in implementation of the state’s directives to rationalize energy consumption and impose discipline on the street, stressing the decisive response to any violations related to closing times.
30 shops were arrested for violating closing times
The governor revealed the results of the recent campaigns, where reports were issued and 30 commercial stores were sealed for violating the decision to close on the scheduled dates, stressing that all legal measures would be taken against violators without exception.
He explained that the campaigns were implemented through complete coordination between local units, security agencies, and concerned authorities, and included field traffic on a number of vital streets and markets, to control violations immediately and ensure full compliance with instructions.
Major General Muhammad Alwan indicated that the central operations room at the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network is following up the situation in real time under the supervision of Major General Ahmed Hosni, ensuring rapid intervention, monitoring of any violations, and taking immediate decisions regarding them.
The Governor of Assiut confirmed that the executive agencies continue to launch daily campaigns in all centers and neighborhoods, while assigning heads of local units not to be lax in enforcing the law, and to deal firmly with violators, in a way that achieves the public interest and maintains the stability of the system.
He renewed his call for citizens to cooperate and report any violations, through the hotline (114), or the operating room numbers, (088/2135858) and (088/2135727), in addition to the unified government complaints system number (16528), stressing that the executive agencies are working around the clock to ensure rapid response and immediate dealing with complaints.
