Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, confirmed the seizure of more than 3 tons of Romanian cheese, salt, and pasta of unknown origin, and the issuance of 191 various catering violations, during intensive monitoring campaigns launched by the Supply Directorate in various governorate centers over a period of three days.
The campaigns came in implementation of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, to intensify oversight of markets, bakeries, gas stations, and commodity warehouses, and to ensure compliance with the laws and regulatory controls, to protect citizens from commercial fraud and manipulation of subsidized goods.
121 violations were issued under the supervision of the Supply Control Department
The Directorate of Supply in Dakahlia led the campaigns under the supervision of accountant Ali Hassan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, targeting bakeries, markets, car fuel stations, and stove depots, to ensure compliance with the weights, specifications, and quality of the products offered.

In the bakery sector, 121 violations were issued under the supervision of the Supply Control Department, ranging from low bread weight, disposal and assembly of subsidized local flour, bread not conforming to specifications, lack of operating records, and poor cleanliness of dough tools.
In the field of markets, 65 violations were issued under the supervision of the Internal Trade Sector, which included possession of goods of unknown origin, failure to announce prices, and the presence of goods without invoices. Quantities of goods were also seized, including 1,000 kilograms of raw materials, 20 cartons of frozen vegetables, 2 cartons of cigarettes, 10 gallons of paint, 30 cans of glue, 10 cartons of cutlery without an industrial record, in addition to half a ton of Romano cheese, and 2.5 A ton of salt and half a ton of pasta of unknown origin. The seized items were seized to take legal measures.
The campaigns against ration merchants also resulted in the issuance of 5 violations, including closing during official working hours, disposing of ration supplies, and not adhering to the controls for disbursing support, within the framework of tightening control over the supply goods system and ensuring that support reaches those who deserve it.
