Three people were injured today, Sunday, as a result of a partial collapse in a house in the village of Arab Al-Shanayla, in the Abnoub district, in the governorate. Assiut.

Transporting the injured to the hospital

Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Assiut Security, received a notification from the warden of the Abnoub Police Station, stating that a report had been received from the rescue operations room, about a partial collapse accident in a house in the village of Arab Al-Shanblah, and that there were injured people.

Police officers, ambulances, and civil protection and rescue forces went to the site of the accident, and the inspection and examination revealed that the house belonged to Quality Thabet Luqa, consisting of a ground floor and an upper floor, built of mud bricks and roofed with shingles and slats, and that the collapse occurred in the back of the house due to its age.

The accident resulted in one injury; Munira Marjan Saeed, 60 years old, suffered bruises, Samah Mamdouh Riyad, 27 years old, suffered from suffocation, and Jumana Hani Jouda, 8 years old, suffered bruises. The injured were transferred to Al-Iman General Hospital to receive the necessary medical care. A report on the incident was drawn up and it is being presented to the competent authorities.
