The Qalyubia Supply Directorate launched intensive monitoring campaigns, headed by Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, on a number of bakeries and food outlets in the areas of Abu Zaabal, Al-Khanka, Mostorod, and the East Shubra Al-Kheima neighborhood, to follow up on the regularity of the bread system and ensure the quality of production.
200 kg of fortified flour was seized from Qalyubia
The campaigns resulted in the seizure of 200 kg of local flour Supported Before selling it on the black market, two misdemeanor reports were issued and the seized quantity was seized. Four violations were also issued to bakeries for producing bread that was underweight and did not conform to specifications and that there was no record of visits.
The campaigns included visiting wholesale stores in Mostorod and Khanka to ensure the availability of basic commodities such as sugar, oil, rice and pasta, reviewing electronic and paper records, in addition to following up on the disbursement of goods to citizens.
The campaigns also resulted in the issuance of a number of reports, including violations of a supermarket without a license and failure to announce prices, and the seizure of quantities of cigarettes without invoices or at prices higher than the prescribed ones, in addition to the issuance of 9 reports for various commercial activities, 3 case reports for catering outlets, and 3 reports for tourist and French bakeries for various violations.
The Undersecretary confirmed the continuation of intensive monitoring campaigns to control markets and protect citizens’ rights.
