The Fayoum Governorate Zoo witnessed a large crowd of citizens during the days of Eid al-Fitr, as thousands of families and young people flocked to spend special entertainment times in a festive atmosphere.

Dr. Noha Mustafa, Director General of the Zoo, confirmed this In FayoumIn statements to Cairo 24: The park received about 5,000 visitors on the third day of Eid, which is the closing day of celebrations, noting that the turnout continued with the same intensity witnessed on the first and second days.
She explained that the first day of Eid al-Fitr recorded the attendance of nearly 7,000 visitors, as well as the second day at approximately the same rate, bringing the total number of visitors during the three days of Eid to about 19,000 visitors, which reflects the great demand for the park as one of the most prominent entertainment parks in the governorate.
The park director added that the administration raised the state of emergency and maximum preparedness before the start of the Eid holiday, as cleaning work was intensified inside the park and on the corridors, maintenance of seating areas, and ensuring the readiness of the facilities and services provided to visitors.
The security presence has also been strengthened in coordination with the concerned authorities, in addition to organizing entry and exit movements to prevent crowding, especially at peak times, in addition to providing supervisory teams to follow up on the general condition of the animals, ensure their safety, and provide them with the necessary veterinary care around the clock.
She pointed out that the park witnessed a state of joy among visitors, especially children, who were keen to see the animals and take souvenir photos, amid the spread of street vendors and a distinctive festive atmosphere.
The Fayoum Zoo is considered one of the most important entertainment destinations in the governorate, as it attracts thousands of visitors during holidays and official occasions, due to the wide green spaces it provides and the diversity of animals, which makes it a favorite destination for families to spend enjoyable times.
