The General Department of Investigation managed Juvenile care The Specialized Police Sector arrested a woman and 9 men with criminal information for exploiting juvenile children in begging, begging passers-by, and selling goods in an aggressive manner within the Cairo Governorate.
A woman and 9 men were arrested for exploiting 13 young people in begging in Cairo
They were accompanied by 13 juveniles who were at risk for selling goods urgently and begging, and when they were confronted, they confessed to their criminal activity.
Legal measures were taken, the victims were handed over to their eligibility, the necessary pledge was taken from them to take good care of them, and coordination was made with the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures towards placing those whose eligibility could not be reached in one of the care homes.
