Lenovo launched its new Yoga Slim 7a Gen 11 laptop to enhance its leading lineup in global markets. This new version comes as a powerful and direct alternative based on AMD processors to compete with the famous version of the Yoga Slim 7i, which is based on Intel processors. The computer features a 14-inch screen with multiple options for fast random memory configurations and an elegant design that meets the aspirations of users looking for high performance and ease of navigation in one device.
The biggest difference in this version compared to the Intel versions lies in the reliance on advanced Gorgon Point processors from AMD. The company offers users the freedom to choose between Ryzen AI 5 430 or Ryzen AI 7 445 processors to ensure exceptional performance. These powerful processors are coupled with ultra-fast LPDDR5X-8000 random access memory with a capacity of either 16 GB or 32 GB, ensuring that heavy applications run and multitasking is completed very smoothly and without any interruption.
The new computer includes a spacious internal storage space of up to 2 TB of fast M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 type to ensure fast data transfer. The device draws its energy from a 70-watt-hour battery to provide long-term operating periods suitable for work outside the home or office. It also supports the latest wireless communication technologies via Wi-Fi 7 networks to provide amazing Internet speeds and unprecedented stability in data transfer across crowded networks.

The company offers users multiple options to customize the screen to suit different needs and budgets. The highest and most distinguished option comes with a stunning 2.8K OLED screen that supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz with a peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits in HDR mode to provide vivid colors and dazzling contrast, while the company provides a basic option with a standard screen that operates at a refresh rate of 60 Hz with a resolution of 1,200 pixels and a brightness of 400 nits to save energy consumption and reduce the overall cost of the device.
Prices for this promising computer are scheduled to start at 1,160 euros in the Eurozone and about 1,000 pounds sterling in the United Kingdom, with slight differences depending on the required specifications. Lenovo expects to start shipping the new devices to customers between the 23rd and 25th of March in the European and British markets, while buyers in Australia will need to wait for a period exceeding 8 weeks, while the company preferred to keep secret the details of prices and availability dates for the North American markets until further notice.
