The maker of the alleged “Bridge” clip for Grand Theft Auto VI revealed the truth about the leaked clip circulating, confirming that it is completely fake. This came after he posted a detailed video explaining how to execute the scene, which was previously circulated as early gameplay footage inside Vice City.
He explained that the scene was not extracted from any real copy, but was rebuilt from scratch over the course of several months using external tools, while trying to imitate Rockstar’s style in terms of lighting, user interface, and visual details, with the aim of testing the possibility of independently producing a realistic-looking scene.
On the other hand, a number of users pointed out that there were inconsistencies in the development interface, the accuracy of the map, and the distribution of elements, which raised doubts about the credibility of the clip from the beginning. User opinions on Reddit were also divided between those who considered it “convincing at first glance” and those who completely dismissed it as a fake leak.

This comes in light of the widespread spread of leaks and rumors about the game since the 2022 leak, which makes any clip spread very quickly. Modern tools have also made it easier to create realistic scenes that may deceive viewers for a short period.
Ultimately, this event confirms the need to deal with any unofficial leaks with caution, as only reliable information comes directly from Rockstar, no matter how convincing otherwise it may seem.
