The Instagram platform has begun testing a new subscription service called Plus in some markets, according to confirmation from Meta, as the service has appeared in countries such as the Philippines, Mexico, and Japan at relatively low prices.

This service provides a set of exclusive benefits, most notably the ability to extend the duration of stories for an additional 24 hours, in addition to creating multiple audiences for stories, knowing the number of rewatches, searching within the viewer list, and previewing stories before publishing them, in addition to sending special reactions and highlighting stories.

Instagram also offers the first month for free within the trial period, while the company has not yet revealed its expansion plans to other markets or the official launch date globally, or whether it will maintain the same current benefits.
