New leaks revealed the method that Apple may adopt to reduce screen creases in its upcoming foldable phone, the iPhone Fold, which is expected to come with a design that is almost devoid of obvious folds.
According to the information, Apple may use two layers of ultra-thin glass, whether UTG or UFG, so that the screen is placed between them without direct contact with the folding hinge. This design enhances the durability of the flexible display, while keeping the appearance of creasing minimal over time.

The leaks also indicate the possibility of adopting self-repairing glass, along with an improved hinge that provides a smoother folding experience.
In a related context, previous reports stated that the wrinkle may reach a thickness of only 0.15 mm, thanks to the use of a Samsung screen and technologies similar to what Oppo provided in the Find N6 phone.
The device is expected to come with a 7.8-inch internal screen and a 5.49-inch external screen, and will be announced during the month of September, with a starting price in the high category.
