AOC unveiled its new Agon Pro AGP346UCSD gaming monitor, joining its market-leading family. This innovative screen comes with an ultra-wide design measuring 34 inches and relies on an advanced tandem OLED panel consisting of five layers to provide an exceptional visual experience. This screen is considered a direct and improved successor to the previous AG346UCD version, as it carries a notable set of exciting improvements that make it a solid and excellent choice for fans of fast and immersive HDR gaming.

The new screen maintains the same size of 34 inches with a degree of curvature of 1800R to provide comfortable peripheral vision for the eyes. The screen continues to provide a display resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, but the fundamental improvements lie in the internal technologies, as it relies on an ultra-advanced QD-OLED panel that provides a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits in small areas to ensure an amazing HDR experience that is far superior to the previous version and meets the aspirations of professional gamers looking for the utmost clarity.

The refresh rate witnessed a huge jump to 360 Hz instead of 175 Hz in the previous generation to ensure maximum smoothness. This screen benefits from the V-Stripe sub-pixel layout, which contributes significantly to improving text clarity and eliminating the fringing problem that previously bothered users of QD-OLED screens. Of course, the panel offers all the classic and well-known advantages of OLED technology, such as near-instant response times, true and accurate blacks, and wonderful and perfect color reproduction.

The company confirms that its screen provides color coverage of 99% of the DCI-P3 area and 97% of the Adobe RGB area with a chromatic aberration rate of less than 1 to ensure exceptional color accuracy. These specifications make the screen very ideal for work that requires high color accuracy in addition to gaming. It also includes a complete set of ports, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1 port, three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and a USB Type-C port that supports DP alt mode and 15 watts of power delivery to meet all connectivity needs.

The screen comes with built-in speakers to provide a basic audio experience without the need for external accessories. The attached stand allows for convenient adjustments, including tilt, swivel, and height adjustment, while the pivot mode option is absent due to the ultra-wide nature of the design. Although official pricing details and availability dates are not clear at the moment of writing, users in a hurry can check out powerful and available alternatives such as the UltraGear 34GX900A-B monitor from LG, which is currently available at a price of $745 US.
