Samsung today announced the launch of an enhanced version of its Samsung Care+ protection plan in 17 European markets, providing a higher level of security for users. The new plan includes unlimited coverage for accident damages such as shocks, falls and liquid spills, while simplifying the amount of additional fees associated with repairs.
In another important step, Samsung expanded the scope of the service to include use inside and outside the country without restrictions, after canceling the previous travel limit of 60 days. The company also added 175 new maintenance centers for immediate repair service, in addition to continuing the option to send the device for remote maintenance.
In terms of the battery, Samsung has provided a free replacement of the battery if its capacity drops to less than 80% after the end of the official warranty, for Care+ subscribers. In addition, the new plan covers any mechanical or electrical malfunctions that may appear after the end of the warranty period, for the duration of the service subscription.

To provide greater flexibility, Samsung has launched a monthly payment option for up to 60 months with the ability to cancel at any time, along with a two-year fixed subscription option.
In terms of additional protection, the company added the option of insurance against theft and loss, which ensures that a replacement device is sent within 48 hours of approval of the request. However, Samsung has limited the number of accepted claims for theft or loss of a device to a maximum of twice a year, with Samsung Knox Guard required to be activated within the first 30 days of starting a Care+ subscription.
