The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has achieved a new record for pre-orders in South Korea, after recording 1.35 million orders in just seven days between February 27 and March 5. For comparison, last year’s Galaxy S25 series needed 11 days to reach 1.3 million pre-orders.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra phone tops the list of the most requested models, as it alone accounted for about 70% of the total pre-orders. This percentage is remarkably high compared to last year, when the Galaxy S25 Ultra accounted for only about 52% of total orders.

On the other hand, Samsung did not reveal the exact distribution of orders between the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, which shared the remaining 30%. It is estimated that both models did not achieve the same level of demand, despite the high public interest in the new series.

In terms of colors, the series phones are available in three basic colors in addition to two exclusive colors through the Samsung website. Most buyers of the Galaxy S26 Ultra phone preferred white and black colors, while Galaxy S26+ users chose a purple color in addition to black.
