The AI Mode in Google Search has received a new feature in the United Kingdom, after its initial launch in the United States last year. The new feature allows users to book restaurants directly by describing what they are looking for and specifying the desired preferences.
The user can write a detailed request such as searching for a table for two at an Italian restaurant that allows pets on a Saturday evening, or finding a nearby sushi restaurant that offers a table for four with vegetarian options. AI Mode then displays a selected list of suitable places according to the specified criteria.
The system also provides direct links to complete reservations through a number of partner services, which facilitates the transition from search to reservation without additional steps.
